Football against racism

Our street warden and Dad's Club organiser Frank Charles helped to support a number of school children in a football tournament, dedicated to raising awareness of racism.

The event was supported by a number of organisations, including Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme, Kidscape, Kick it Out and Football Unites Racism Divides.

The winners of the friendly competiton were children from Downsell School who defeated Davies Lane School in a penalty shoot-out.

The event was held at the Leyton Score Centre, with Downsell, Davies Lane, Dawlish, Willowbrook, Beaumont and George Leyton schools all delivering teams for the event.

Congratulations to Frank for helping organise such a great event for the children.
